Parents As Partners in Learning

Parents and guardians are an essential part of the Region 14 community. It’s a documented fact that students who have parents and families who are involved are more inclined to become active and successful learners.

There are a variety of ways that parents and guardians can help their child with homework and succeed in school.

  • With the implementation of our Google Classroom and the Chromebook 1:1 initiative, much of the learning and homework are now based online.

Progress Reports

Region 14 Elementary School progress reports reflect the skills and standards upon which instruction is focused. Our intention is to provide parents with information that helps them to understand their children’s learning.

The progress reports simplify and define the scoring keys for academic areas and learner behaviors, accurately report on student progress on the learning objectives being taught in each grade level, connect learning goals for the class with standards and promote consistency in what is being taught and how performance is evaluated across classrooms and schools serving the same grade level.
