Students at Bethlehem Elementary School can participate in a variety of co-curricular activities designed to enrich their experiences both in and out of the classroom.
Beginning in Grade 3, all Region 14 students have the opportunity to join the School Orchestra and the Chorus. In Grade 4, students are offered the opportunity to join the School Band. Students showcase their skills with performances in the winter and spring at Woodbury Middle School. Chorus members also have an opportunity to participate in a Ring and Sing in conjunction with the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
Each year, 5th graders at Bethlehem and Mitchell Elementary Schools come together for the DARE program where they learn good decision-making skills to help them lead responsible lives and enhance safety in schools, neighborhoods and their community.
In addition, each spring the 5th graders from both schools come together for several team building opportunities to ease the transition for them to Woodbury Middle School in the fall.
Bethlehem Elementary School students participate in Student Council, the Bucket filling initiative, the Community Circle and the 5th Grade Library Volunteer Program.
