Dear Parents and Guardians:

Region 14 continues to employ strong security measures at all of our schools, including armed, full-time School Resource Officers and on duty police monitoring at all of our locations. In light of yesterday’s events in Texas, there was additional police presence throughout the district.  We also made support staff available for both our students and staff if needed.

We ask that our families continue to monitor their children’s social media activity and speak with them about proper on-line behavior.  If you or your child become aware of any potential threat posted to social media or anywhere else, to notify the police, a school staff member, or trusted adult.
