"Winter Wonderland: Not So Wonderful for New Drivers" by Jacob Wells -- The light snowfall earlier this month provided the first opportunity (and anxiety) for some students to drive in the snow.

"In- and Out-of-District Students Jell at Nonnewaug" by Jano Nakhla -- Freshmen might be nervous at first, but upperclassmen say that it doesn't take long for students from all towns to become friends at Nonnewaug.

"French Students Enjoy Art, Garden on Field Trip" by Izzy Rivera -- French students enjoyed a recent field trip to the Hillstead Museum in Farmington.

"Drive Safely — Your Life Depends on It" by Sophie Pape -- Encouraging students to drive safely on and off school grounds has been an emphasis of Nonnewaug administration and SRO Chris O'Toole.

"Out-of-District Students Facing Results of a Bus Driver Shortage" by Madelynn Orosz -- Bus driver shortages often have a disproportionate impact on out-of-district students.

"Nonnewaug Baseball Claims Pair of Division 1 Players" by Ben Stewart -- Two Nonnewaug juniors recently committed to play for Division 1 college baseball programs. Brett Davino will play at UConn, and Braeder Purser-Eber will play at the College of Charleston.

"Basketball Players Excited to Trash the Masks" by Sam Conti -- Senior basketball players Brendan Burke and Maddie Roden are among those who are excited to take advantage of the CIAC's policy that will allow them to remove masks while playing starting Dec. 23.

"Nonnewaug Hosts 13th Annual Senior Citizen Meal" by Megi Gorka and Sierra Reynolds -- John Dominello's culinary classes served meals to more than 100 local senior citizens during the Dec. 9 drive-thru.

"‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ with NHS Band and Choir" by Madelynn Orosz -- Region 14 students helped Bethlehem and Woodbury ring in the Christmas season at celebrations earlier this month.
