Certification

In order to be considered for a teaching position in the Region 14 School District, you must have, or be eligible for, an appropriate Connecticut teaching certificate. If you are certified, please include a copy of your certificate with your application.

If you are certified elsewhere and wish to apply for a Connecticut certificate, you should visit the Connecticut State Department of Education Bureau of Certification.

Alternate Route to Certification

Become a Teacher through the Alternate Route to Certification offered through the Office of Higher Education and approved by the Connecticut State Department of Education.
