MES Career Speakers Day Gives Upper Elementary Students a Look at Jobs

Career Speakers Day for Mitchell Elementary School 3rd - 5th graders today gave students an up close and personal look at a wide variety of careers. Students signed up for three 20-minute sessions of their interest, learning from professionals about their career fields. Today spanned areas of police and fire, FBI, medical, veterinarian, water utility, mechanical engineers, teachers and administrators, law, marketing, real estate, aviation, beautician, nursing, barista, photography, insurance, baking, land trust philanthropy. Students were engaged and asked terrific questions of their guests. What a great wrap-up to another Career Week at MES.
