BES 2nd Graders Organize Food Drive to Help in Their Community
Second graders in Marcy Molzon and Kate VonDuntz's classes at Bethlehem Elementary School are learning about the different people, places, and activities that make up a community.
The students learned that an important part of being in the community is when neighbors help neighbors. The second graders have organized a Community Food Drive and are collecting non-perishable items to help stock the shelves for the local food bank, Caring For Bethlehem. Second graders will be collecting items through October 11. Well done!
