Local Food Banks

The food banks in Bethlehem and Woodbury are vital during the COVID-19 crisis.
They desperately need your help right now as supplies are running out.

Since lunches being provided for Region 14 students are being picked up at both Bethlehem Elementary School and Mitchell Elementary School, these areas are available for food drop-off as well. Every day from 12:00pm - 1:00pm a bin will be placed next to the sandwich pick-up for donations of nonperishable items. If you cannot make it during that time, a bin will be outside the Woodbury Middle School front doors every day. You need only drive up and drop off to donate.

If can't make it to the schools to donate non-perishable items, you can donate online.

The Woodbury Food Bank is found at the basement level of the Newtown Savings Bank branch. It is accessed by taking the driveway on either side of the LaBonne’s plaza building to the rear delivery lot.

The food bank is observing social distancing guidance by placing a designated donation table outside the food bank, allowing donors to drop off donations on this table and then return to their vehicles before the food bank volunteers pick up the donations to bring into the food bank for processing.

The Woodbury Food Bank is most fortunate for so many good friends who make their work possible at the food bank in these most challenging times.

The food bank staff is in need of donations of bleach, sanitizing wipes and sanitizing liquid to maintain a clean and safe food bank environment for the staff to prepare assistance.
